It provides UM researchers with insight into the academic and societal impact & open access status of their research outputs, to include in grant applications or for UM Career Compass applications.
It uses all research outputs registered by a researcher in PURE Cris (& those associated with your ORCiD ID) and links them to metadata. This metadata provides numerical indicators that give insight into the academic and societal impact of your research outputs.
In accordance with the requirements of Dutch funders and UM policy, output-based indicators (e.g. CNCI) are provided as opposed to journal-based indicators (e.g. JIF). For more information on so-called 'responsible' research information metrics, see the website of the Maastricht University Library.
For assistance in choosing a selection of research outputs based on the indicators provided, or for general assistance in applying for funding, please contact your UM funding advisor.
